Completely refurbished in 2007, the Academy offers superb value for money in a prime location just off O'Connell Street. "I would expect to pay much more for accommodation of this quality" is typical of the comments received from our guests.

"We really enjoyed in short stay in Dublin; to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. Our welcome at the Academy was excellent; we were allowed access to our room immediately,(at 1pm not 3pm; it was an excellent suite which I believe may have been given to us because I had mentioned the reason for our visit; large comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent, all staff very friendly and helpful and on departure we were allowed to leave cases in hotel after check out whilst we waited for went shopping and waited for flight. Topped off by friendliness of young barman who explained the rules of hurling to my wife whilst we drank tea; we only hope his team reaches the final; they've got to the semis already! Recommendation to my parents has worked; they have booked 5 days there in September. Friendly staff Service, food, quality and location will all score highly with them! Slanthe!
