Camden Street, Dublin 2. Intl: +353-1-4127622 The stylish Camden Court Hotel, with it's 246 bedrooms, opened in 1998 and has rapidly become one of the most popular hotels in Dublin. With modern, well equipped rooms, an ideal central location, friendly staff combined with excellent facilities for both business and leisure, the Camden Court Hotel is an ideal choice for visitors looking for a central location in Dublin. In addition to all of the standard features that visitors expect from a modern quality hotel, guests may also avail of the hotels swimming pool, leisure facilities & 24 hour secure car parking facility. Please note: Swimming hats are required for the pool. If you forget your own, they can be purchased at the hotel.
Location
The Camden Street area is a thriving locality right in the centre of Dublin, within a few minutes walk of St. Stephens Green, Grafton Street & Temple Bar. With intimate restaurants and small shops lining the streets, it is popular with tourists and locals alike. One of my favorite pubs, the Bleeding Horse which dates from 1710, is situated next door to the hotel. The Camden Court Hotel is the choice of business travellers and tourists alike for its proximity to all that's best in Dublin. It's just a pleasant walk from the hotel to St. Stephen's Green with its music stand, flower beds and fountains. From there, historic Trinity College, fashionable Grafton Street and the riverside artist's quarter, Temple Bar, all beckon.
ReceptionThe Camden Court's spacious reception area, decorated in rich shades of rose, gold and blue, sets the tone of warm hospitality and classic service, which are the hallmark of the hotel. Helpful staff assist guests with a smile. A porter brings bags to the room. There's a convenient Bureau de Change at the reception desk and the hotel's shop in the lobby is stocked with an assortment of small necessities, newspapers and magazines.
Piseogs BarIntroducing a new pub to the well-established favourites of Camden Street called for something special. Enthusiastic local reaction proves Piseogs to be just that. Themed around Irish myths, the seven exuberantly decorated areas that make up this enormous pub are themselves as fanciful as any piseogs ever told around a turf fire. Residents and regulars quickly find a cosy corner to call their own.
BedroomsThe crisply decorated bedrooms and luxurious bathrooms continue the theme of care and comfort at the Camden Court. Each room is equipped with a direct dial telephone and an outlet for a computer. A fax machine is supplied on request. To speed check out, the room bill can be viewed on the remote control TV/video. Trouser press, hair dryer, and coffee and tea making facilities are provided, as is a laundry and dry cleaning service for residents. Room service complements the hotel's excellent catering facilities. Non smoking room are available, and those travelling with children will find special family rooms fitted out for their needs.
Conference FacilitiesEvery facility for ensuring a successful conference is on hand at the Camden Court. Soundproof meeting rooms cater for 5 to 120 people. Audiovisual equipment, overhead projectors, translation services, etc are all arranged according to requirements. A hospitality room where conference participants can relax between sessions is adjacent to the meeting rooms themselves. A staffed secretarial/ computer service centre adjoins it. | ||||||||||||||||||
