Fax: 4060222 The old style atmosphere of the Central Hotel appeals to many. As does its location - it's not called Central for nothing! We particularly like the guest who managed to count over 50 eateries within a ten minute walk, though we think he must have missed a few. And that's not to mention the bars, sights and shopping. The Central Hotel Customer Reviews
"Central Hotel was located in one of the best spots in Dublin, central to everything and easy to find. On arrival the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was very nice aside from the window overlooking a roof and brick wall, and the cleanliness could have been better. However, for a short break and for somewhere easy to access and get your head down for the night Central Hotel is fantastic. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay there again. "This Hotels Location is excellent and spotlessly clean superb for both families and couples highly recommended for return on our next visit to Dublin . "Excellent location at very good price. Some staff were very helpful, some couldn't speak English! Barman did not know what Brandy was & drinks served in dirty glasses." "My friends and I had enjoyed our stay in the Central Hotel. Our Room was great, Room 326 our friends room was not really in a good state of repair. Breakfast on the Saturday morning could have been a lot better. We asked for various things many times before we actually got them. I feel a lot of other customers felt the same way. Sunday morning things were brilliant and everything went smoothly. The staff were very friendly. I would go back. Denise Wright (room 327) "Needing a bit of an upgrade, as looking a bit worn, but clean & tidy enough. Friendly staff & excellent location - overall, good value for money, considering what we paid." "Nice relaxed comfortable hotel" "although convenient as a central location in Dublin we were disappointed that the room we had was very dark at all times of the day and had a problem with constant noise from traffic (which wasn't mentioned on the web site). Plumbing very poor and hot water took a very long time to come through as very slow. almost impossible to fill a bath - would have taken all night. When we DID use shower, receptionist mentioned that water had leaked from our bathroom onto a conference room below. Hardly our problem. Also now note your website mentions fine dining and excellent wines at the Central Hotel. We were not even aware the Central Hotel provided dinner as it was not mentioned/advertised during our stay. We quite likely would have used that facility. Would not recommend the Central Hotel to anyone. "Staff need more training but the head concierge Ian was excellent..... great service....great guy! he made a huge effort with all of us and made our break very enjoyable."
