The old style atmosphere of the Central Hotel appeals to many. As does its location - it's not called Central for nothing! We particularly like the guest who managed to count over 50 eateries within a ten minute walk, though we think he must have missed a few. And that's not to mention the bars, sights and shopping.

"Great location. Clean & spacious rooms and good value for the money. There were 6 of us in 2 triple rooms & we were all surprised at how big the rooms were especially as there was an extra bed in them. The shower in one of the rooms ran scalding hot. The Central Hotel is in a great location and has good bedrooms but the staff and the breakfasts fell short of my expectations

We were disappointed that there was not a residents bar just to have a night cap. all the facilities that we needed were on hand and we had a very enjoyable one night stay. "The Central Hotel was quite nice - location is very convenient, the people were great, the food at breakfast was good and overall the accommodations were quite good.
"I also booked a car through your website - Irish Car Rentals. Car was fine but the company's policy on extra rental insurance was lousy. We thought we had purchased insurance to cover every extra possible problem but it turned out not to cover windscreen damage and we had to pay E 419 when a rock hit the windscreen and it cracked a bit. That was really infuriating since we paid over E 30 a day for extra insurance and when we rented the car, we were assured that it covered everything - unfortunately, that was not what the fine print said.
