The old style atmosphere of the Central Hotel appeals to many. As does its location - it's not called Central for nothing! We particularly like the guest who managed to count over 50 eateries within a ten minute walk, though we think he must have missed a few. And that's not to mention the bars, sights and shopping.

The nights were a bit noisy from the pubs in the street but this is not astonishing at this location. We liked the Central Hotel and stayed even one more night."

"The first room we were allocated the heating did not work, and the TV had no remote control. Both these problems were dealt with efficiently. We were given a TV remote control straight away, and when a definite problem with the heating was found we were moved to another room, which was of a higher standard for the same price. We enjoyed our stay."
