Welcome to Chief O Neills Hotel, Dublin

A recent addition to Dublin, Chief O’Neill’s has a modern and funky approach with a flare rarely seen in other hotels. Located in the redeveloped Smithfield’s area on the north side of the city, just a short walk from Dublin’s main attractions and seconds walk to the LUAS. Chief O’Neill’s forms the centrepiece Smithfield, with a collection of bars, restaurants and music venues, about a 10 minute walk to Temple Bar - Dublin's main hotspot for nightlife.

Chief O'Neill's Café & Bar

A bright open plan bar in located on the ground floor of Chief O'Neill's Hotel which plays host to some great music sessions from Traditional Irish to Gypsy Jazz. Add a little Jazz to your Sunday Brunch with fantastic "Hot Club Of Dublin" playing tribute to the world famous "Django" from 12 to 3pm!

Location

Situated in "Dublin's New Cultural Quarter", Chief O'Neill's Hotel is just a ten minute walk or 2 minute tram ride from Dublin City Centre and the two major train stations. A mix of entertaining visitor attractions including The Chimney Viewing Tower and the Old Jameson Distillery together with a selection of bars, restaurants and vibrant shopping core encircle the hotel.

Directions from Dublin Airport: Follow the M1 towards Dublin City Centre (the main Belfast to Dublin Road). Continue straight past the "Port Tunnel" into Dromcondra, passing by O'Connell Street on the left, onto Dorset Street. Staying on the left hand side of the road, proceed along Dorset Street onto Bolton Street until you reach a large junction which will have a "Londis" shop on the left and "The Tap" Bar on the right. Take a left at this junction onto Church Street. At the second set of lights on Church Street, turn right where you will see "The Old Jameson Distillery". When you reach this building, turn left and circle around to the front of it. The Hotel is facing the coble stoned area on the right hand side.

The Chimney

This exclusive Chimney Viewing Tower, once a 185 foot Chimney for Jamesons Distillery provides the perfect viewing platform for Irelands favourite City. Marvel at the spectacular views with a professional Tour Guide taking you through the forgotten history of Dublin. Tours go up every half hour and group rates are available. Exclusive hire is available for that "SPECIAL OCCASION", meeting or event.
