    North City Hotels

This is that part of the city centre just north of the river Liffey. The LIffey runs right through the centre of Dublin a straight line and for locals it’s the South side vs the North side (forget East and West). North Side has some good shopping (Henry/Talbot St), cinemas, theatres (the Abbey) and is hop skip and a jump over the River to Temple Bar.

It includes O'Connell Street, Dublin's main thoroughfare, the General Post Office (GPO), the focal-point of the Easter Rising, the Garden of Remembrance & Dublin's Financial Services Centre. And in later years boasts the new IFSC (Irish Financial Services Centre) and the Point Depot (music venue).

We’ve divided the North side city centre of ease into three areas. See our Dublin Map for more precise locations. All hotels have their map number beside them.
