"Just what we were looking for.....stylish!!!!"

"Staff and service was excellent. However, for the money paid I felt that the rooms were quite small and there were no tea and coffee facilities in the room, which is often just what you need after a full day sightseeing! The mini bar was fully stocked, but obviously you had to pay for anything used. It is the only hotel I have been in where tea/coffee facilities were not in the room, and I feel it needs addressing. Overall though we had an excellent stay.

"We were greeted on arrival with two glasses of Champagne to celebrate my husband's 30th birthday - that was a very nice touch and got our weekend off to a great start. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Fantastic breakfasts! The only negative point I can raise is that the room and bathroom were rather small.

"It is a while ago now so my memory of making the booking is not clear but I remember it being a very easy and efficient process. No contact with staff other than by booking process on line. Our daughter recommended the hotel so I think I chose the Clarence because of her knowledge but we will use your facility again in the future."
