As one of Dublin's finest modern hotels, complaints at The Fitzwilliam are few and far between, as the many positive reviews below show. Guests regularly rave about the prime location, first class service and superb food. In the past, noise from the building of the LUAS line caused some disturbance, but the now completed line places guests just a twenty-five minute tram journey away from Ireland's largest shopping centre in Dundrum.

"This was the first time we had been in Dublin and the Hotel was fantastic. We had a meal in the Citron and it rated as the best meal we had ever had!! There were Six people in our party and we all agreed! We had a bit of confusion over the booking it had been put in the book for Saturday instead of Sunday but they managed to get us in and gave us a round of drinks while we waited for our table and then a bottle of wine when we were at the table. They know how to make your stay brilliant! The young trainee staff were also very good. I must say that it would have been nice if their names were on their badges along with the

"The hotel is currently something of a building site with work beginning at 7:30am with pneumatic drills each morning. There was no air conditioning in the room so the window had to be open allowing the noise at its full volume. The mattress was broken and at checkout the hotel overcharged me and then spent 30 minutes rectifying their error."
