As one of Dublin's finest modern hotels, complaints at The Fitzwilliam are few and far between, as the many positive reviews below show. Guests regularly rave about the prime location, first class service and superb food. In the past, noise from the building of the LUAS line caused some disturbance, but the now completed line places guests just a twenty-five minute tram journey away from Ireland's largest shopping centre in Dundrum.

We opened windows, put on the fan, even sprayed perfume, but the odor lasted the entire time we were there. Despite this setback, we would visit the Fitzwilliam again, since we received a very good deal in booking, and the hotel is located so centrally. Considering the hotel was so much value for money, the food was not that great. We had to send one of our orders back so we would not eat there again. However that was the downstairs bar and not the main restaurant.
