"On arrival we were allocated a room with en suite bathroom perhaps a little tired in places but adequate. The room was very warm although there was a vent in the room the control was defective. In the morning when we tried to use the shower the control was also defective we either had scalding or cold water. This was reported to reception they advised us that they would have it looked at whilst we were out. On return we were advised that the shower had been repaired but they were unsure about the air conditioning. When we entered the room despite the fact that the windows were wide open in the bathroom and the bedroom it was excessively warm in the room. We spoke to the duty manager and we were immediately relocated to another room. This room did have the benefit of air conditioning making the night far more comfortable. The heat of the shower was controllable but the power of the water flow was very poor. The supervision in the restaurant was excellent nothing was too much bother. The staff were excellent however I feel that The Gresham did not meet my expectations. I was very disappointed as this was a celebratory occasion, I may use this hotel again mainly because of the staff. "No problems to report." "we found The Gresham was in a perfect location and the twin lavery room was excellent very spacious, "We really enjoyed our stay in the gresham, would definitely use again when in dublin." "we had a lovely stay in the gresham hotel- the only slight hitch being they gave us a bill for the balance of quite a bit more than what we were supposed to be paying-luckily i had the booknow 365 receipt and they changed it to the correct amount with no quibbles. We were in a room in the lavery wing and thought it was lovely especially the big bathroom with both large corner shower with power shower and separate bath, all with very modern fittings. Staff very polite and helpful." "I was rather worried because after I had booked this hotel I read some rather poor reviews, but I must say The Gresham was excellent. Admittedly I did upgrade to a Lavery Room but every aspect of our stay was wonderful." "The dining room duty manager and reception staff were stand offish and unhelpful the other staff were all excellent" "lovely renovations in bedrooms but view out over mechanics on roof not so desirable "The staff at The Gresham were excellent, particularly the concierges and reception staff. The location of The Gresham is ideal and in easy reach from the airport. Unfortunately, our room was rather old fashioned, but they are in the process of renovations. Make sure you book an inside (quiet) room, as The Gresham is on one of Dublin's busiest streets." "lovely stay would recommend it plan to visit with friends in Feb."
