The Harcourt Hotel is fantastic if you are coming to enjoy Dublin's night life and you are likely to participate in it. The bar, beer garden and night-club are just what you want and the facilities are ideal for groups of young adults. However, if you are bringing your children and / or are looking for somewhere quiet then you would be advised to look for a quieter room. The reviews are generally positive....

“ We were in the new wing (the house out the back). Thursday night was fine however, Friday night was really noisy the guests in another room were running up and down the stairs (young drunk guests) and shouting to each other from their different rooms. This was late at night and we had to get up for work the next morning. The staff were then in the room underneath us chatting and I presume doing the laundry. 8am is too early for guests especially when they didn’t get a good night sleep. Wouldn't stay in that part of the Harcourt Hotel again. (Wasn't as good as other stays in this hotel) A hand towel was not provided in the bathroom and there wasn’t a curtain on the window in the bathroom, which faced onto the courtyard. Small issues but could be fixed easily. ”

“ As a group of 6 ladies who were visiting Dublin for Shopping and the Nightlife we could not fault the Harcourt Hotel. We didn't find it too noisy and it was ideally placed for what we wanted out of our stay. When we return to Dublin we would choose to stay there again. ”
