"very difficult to get a seat in the bar but overall very good "Hotel was good value for money. Staff could pretend to be a little bit happy in their job. We got about one smile while we were there. Also I had paid for the room when we arrived and then had a meal in the bar which we put on to our room. When we went to re-enter the room after been out of the hotel they had cancelled our key so that we couldn`t enter the room without paying for the meal.. Our car was in the car park that you couldn`t get out without contacting reception so I didn`t think there was any need to carry on like this over €44. I wouldn`t use this hotel again. regards Deirdre Daly" "Lovely hotel, excellent staff, by the description thought it was closer to the centre with having young children, would have been nice to have had air conditioning as rooms were warm even when heating off but traffic very noisy outside. Apart from small things like that a brilliant and friendly hotel thank you" "Quite a walk (and not an attractive one!)into the city centre, this hotel is fairly old-fashioned, although it has the basics and is very clean. The bathroom and the beds were large, clean and of good quality. The breakfast was delicious and huge, with very flexible times. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a pleasant plce to stay but very expensive, as is Dublin as a whole - and this comes from a Londoner! "The drinks vending machine and ice machine on the 2nd floor didn`t work, other than that, the place was spot on." "This as our first visit to Dublin and we were more than satisfied with the whole package. We had stayed in Holiday Inns before and knew just what to expect and were thoroughly satisfied with the hotel and service. The staff were particularly attentive and all our requests were dealt with immediately.A very happy stay. "my friends and i thoroughly enjoyed our visit, all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, i would reccommend it to friends and hope to return soon." "Very helpful staff, particularly on reception. Room very nice, very clean. Ate in the hotel restaurant twice, first time good, second time very disappointed. (Change of Chef maybe?)"
