No wonder so many guests rave about the location of Hotel Isaacs! Situated opposite the central bus station and close to Connolly train station, with the LUAS running outside its door, it is the only place in Dublin from which you can see a tram, a train, cars, buses, coaches and boats (and if you look up, the occasional airplane). Let us know if you get that photo!

Hotel Isaacs Customer Reviews

"Wonderful hotel, really enjoyed our stay. Cant really fault it majorly in any way.
"very clear and easy to use."

"hotel isaacs was a very nice hotel the breakfast was very good with lots of choice, but the room we stayed in was a little to close to the railway line and we could hear to trains up and down a lot off the time. but overall a very good place to stay and close to the bus depot.
"very easy to use and helpful."

"Hotel very convenient to rail station, bus station and taxi ranks. Hotel staff extremely helpful in every respect. Would not hesitate to advise anyone visiting Dublin to book into Hotel Isaacs"

"Easy to get to and from the airport. Good location for getting to all the parts of Dublin I wanted to visit."

"everything was great."

"We picked this hotel mainly due to its price and were more than pleased with the overall standard. We arrived mid morning got a bus from the airport straight to the hotel (excellent directions). We couldn't check in till 2pm but not a problem to leave our cases whilst we explored the city. The rooms were very nice and in a quiet position off the main road. Location was perfect, everything was within easy walking distance. There was a taxi rank outside the hotel which was also quite handy. We sampled the Italian Restaurant which was very good and although we booked on a room only basis we decided to try the full Irish breakfast and weren't disappointed. The reception staff were very friendly particularly when we split the final bill between the 5 of us and booked a taxi for our early morning flight home. Dublin was brilliant, we had a fabulous time and thoroughly recommend a visit. Hotel Isaacs was an excellent base for a perfect weekend.
"If any thing the description didn't do it justice. Excellent."

"This hotel was everything I hoped it would be. The staff in particular from Reception, Bar staff, Cleaners and even the night porter as we arrived very late were so friendly and helpful. I would certainly stay there again and recommend to others"

"Danger! Danger! Avoid this hotel! Unbeknownst to us, this hotel is located in a very dangerous section of Dublin, well-known for its muggings and other violence on weekend nights. The Hotel Isaacs is directly across the street from the Irish equivalent of the Greyhound Bus Terminal. The taxi drivers were all concerned and gave us multiple warnings about being out in the neighborhood at night. The taxi from the airport to the hotel triple checked with us that we indeed knew where we were going; he simply couldn't believe we were serious. Other taxi drivers were insistent that they stay parked, watching until after we made it safely inside the hotel. The hotel staff knows that its unsafe, as they lock the doors at sundown; a guard or night clerk will come and unlock the door for you. Most of the staff were from the Czech Republic, and their grasp of English was (in most cases) minimal. The
"I'm not sure where you get the hotel info and descriptions from, but you should pay attention to the area of town and public safety. Where Hotel Isaacs sits is very known for its weekly outbursts of drunken violence."
