You would expect the best at five star prices, but clearly The Merrion goes out of its way to provide that something extra for all its guests.

Just note how often guests reach for superlatives - best, nicest, excellent - when reviewing the Merrion. Truly a fist class luxury hotel experience.

"Without doubt the best hotel experience I've had in years. It's a bit on the spendy side, but you forget that when you're enjoying what they have to offer. The Merrion is a bit of a walk from the main shops and sites, but that means you've also got a very quiet, relaxing stay. The spa is amazing. We were pampered from head to toe.

Everything was perfect. While I appreciate that The Merrion is in the higher price bracket, everything from the ambience to the cuisine was excellent value for money. Some hotels use their name to provide a sub-standard service. I do not mind paying for a service that is value for money. We would definitely return to the Merrion and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin.

"I've stayed at many 5 star hotels and I think the Merrion was by far the best. Not least because of the incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. We were travelling with a 21 month old child and the staff made us feel very welcome. They gave our daughter a lot of attention and went out of their way with extra touches such as milk and cookies being left in the room after their turn down service. The Merrion grounds were beautiful and I cant wait to get back there.
