Facing Trinity College and adjacent to College Green, The Trinity Capital's location makes it ideal for those who like to be at the centre of things, just a few minutes walk away from Temple Bar, O'Connell Street and Grafton Street. Like all city centre hotels though, light sleepers can be put off by the traffic outside (not to mention the occasional disturbance from the fire station next door).

"Bedroom was adequate - we felt it was overpriced for what was provided. Only one pillow each - had to ask for two (no spares in room). Decoration was OK but bathroom tiling sloppy. Shower overflowed onto bathroom floor - curtain inadequate. No conditioner bottles. We liked The Trinity Capital Hotel's unusual decor and atmosphere and the central location was excellent. A room not facing the main road would have been better as it was noisy with the window open - maybe a choice of room would have been good. Staff were generally friendly, very helpful and attentive. Food was very good. Overall we had a good time."

"The Trinity Capital Hotel in it's green drive provided no toiletries that I would consider standard in that level of hotel. There was no fridge or mini bar service again for that rate one would expect these as standard not optional.
"Quick and efficient gave me a good idea of what to expect and was pleasantly surprised to see that it was higher than my expectations in decor and service. What would have been useful was to know was that no fridge or toiletries were available. In today's day of travel where baggage restrictions on carrying liquids is so tight some basic amenities we expect in the hotel - drinking water in a minibar and separate shampoo and conditioner for women guests."

"the location of The Trinity Capital Hotel was excellent, we couldn't have asked for better it was close to shops and nightlife etc. there was no mini bar in our room which was disappointing but everything else was excellent e.g. service, staff and cleanliness.

"We had a rear courtyard room. No bedside tables. Room safe in a cupboard which we could hardly see to enter the code. Very limited storage space. Bed extremely comfortable. Main reception areas had very dim lighting. Breakfast excellent

"As we were visiting students at Trinity College the location of this hotel was perfect. The only slight criticism is that it is next to the city fire station and we were woken each morning as the firemen paraded! Rooms were very good if a little warm! During the coldest spell in December we had to sleep with the window open. I would recommend and definitely use this hotel again.
